Zion Adventure with Friends

I have an unreasonable obsession with shooting in what many would consider "bad weather." On a particular Friday, I was stuck in my coffee shop (really it's not so bad, I actually rather enjoy it under normal circumstances!) while the weather was playing some nasty games and creating some incredible moody and dynamic light. My heart literally ached from an intense desire to be shooting portraits. I know, its weird. So as I drove home, I looked up the weather report for Zion on Saturday. Cold, dense fog, generally considered miserable. Perfect. I cried out on Facebook for anyone willing to brave the weather and model for me, and low and behold, four of my favorite people responded to the call! The weather didn't actually end up being that bad, it was still chilly, but man did we have a blast and create some killer images!
