Read MoreI can attribute a great deal of my growth as a photographer to Tyler taking me under his wing and letting me shoot weddings with him. I've had the opportunity to travel all over Utah and to California working with him and watching him work. This time I got to help out by documenting one of his engagement sessions in Zion National Park for his brand marketing material!

Read MoreWe shot this session alongside one of our awesome photographer friends, Chad with Faces Photography when he was down for a visit to St. George. Shaelie volunteered to model for us, and Chad brought along his Mamiya RZ67 Medium Format film camera for me to play with. One session with that monster and I was hooked, I later when and purchased my own medium format film camera. I always appreciate shooting with Chad and his constant willingness to teach and help other photographers. #CommunityOverCompetition

I assure you as soon as he puts up some of his work, I will be sure to link to it so you can check it out! If his music ends up half as awesome as he is, it's gonna blow your socks off!

Read MoreI've discovered that I really love working with independent artisan style businesses. I first got a taste of this style of photography working with the St. George Barbershop a few months back, so I've been working on developing this style. My friend, Amanda, co-owned the Desert Light Pottery Studio located on the St. George Boulevard here in St. George, UT; so I approached her and asked if I could get some practice.
